Answers for: Gold Presents not displaying correctly

Recently there was a bug where the new Gold Presents were showing up as a different item than what showed in the habitat. This has been fixed, and the original link to the post is listed below.

Hey all,

We fixed the items so that they should be what you originally saw in your inventory (and what you randomly drew when you first opened the item up). I know some of you preferred the incorrectly displaying item, but the items as they are now are what you originally were supposed to get.

Answers for: Thanksgiving Quest not completing but should be!

Hi friends,

Have you all tried what Buff asked & cleared your Cache & Cookies. I had to do the same, then log off and back in again in order for the Quests to update.

Clear your Flash Cache:
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

Click on ‘Delete all sites’ and ‘Confirm’

-Gardening Goofs

Some of you have been seeing some really odd stuff with your Gardens lately: plants dying immediately after seeds are planted, incorrect harvests, even plants dying in friends’ Gardens. This is definitely a bizarre bug that we’re currently researching. We’re trying to gather as many cases of this as we can, so if you’re seeing this happen in your Garden, please contact us through the CSC so we can have more examples to investigate!

-Hard to Accept

The Accept and Ignore All buttons for Free Gifts on SPP accounts that have Facebook Connect set up. When you clicked either button, all buttons would grey out and become unclickable, making it impossible to accept or deny any Gift, much less all of them. We fixed this bug this week.

-The Pet Shop Shuffle

This week we made some under-the-hood tweaks to the Pet Shop to make it run a lot faster, and they worked great! Check out how speedy moving between pages is smile However, there was an unintentional side-effect to these improvements that caused items to get all jumbled up in the Shop – new items weren’t at the front, and old and sold out items were all over the place.

We weren’t able to get this fixed in time for the Thursday release, but we were able to create new categories for all the new items so that players could easily access the new items without any problems.

We managed to iron out these issues and The Pet Shop is back to normal now. Not only that – it’s actually better and faster than before! So while we had some growing pains with these improvements, we’ll all enjoy the benefits of these changes in the future!

We’re working on getting them in there now! They may have shown up for some of you at 7 – I saw them for a second, but they’re being fickle now.

Also, if you did manage to buy anything, like the Decorator Packs, you might be noticing those items showing up blank in your inventories now. They’ll appear normally once all the items are live in the Pet Shop, so just sit tight. Thanks for your patience, everyone.

Answers for: Voting Gallery Malfunction/Glitch?

An SPP user recently posted in the Tech forums about a Glitch in the Voting Gallery. Apparently it is only letting you vote 3-4 times out of your daily 100.

Nicole responded in the forums stating:

Good morning everyone! I am sending a report to our development team to let them know that the gallery seems to be malfunctioning.

As always, please remember to post your browser version and which social network you are playing on so we can troubleshoot and check for a commonality.
