- Decorate your habitat to show a room in your habitat with a monochromatic color scheme!

Monochromatic can best be described as one single color, take blue for instance. In order to keep with a monochromatic color scheme – you can ONLY add black or white to blue (imagine that you’re a painter mixing colors). This will create a darker blue (if black is added), or a sky blue (if white is added) etc, etc. Monochromatic just means that only one single color can be used in the design, but different varieties of one color are used in place of other colors.

Some sample Monochromatic examples have been posted above, as well as a color wheel to inspire you!

The trick in this contest is to find the perfect colors of certain items to decorate with!

**** Please note: Black and white CAN be used with your color scheme (no matter what color you choose). You can ALSO use grey as your main color, and stick with whites, greys and blacks as your monochromatic scheme ****
